They say good things come to those who wait. Well, that’s fine and good, and normally I’m a pretty patient person. When it comes to my morning coffee, though, HONEY…I am an entirely different species. I wake up and I need my coffee now. Like, right now. As a work at home mom, my time is super limited. When I drop Ayva off at school, I have exactly 6 hours to fit 8+ hours worth of work in. There’s barely enough time for bathroom breaks, let alone standing in line at a coffee shop! Fortunately, I am now the proud owner of a NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto and I can get my favorite coffeehouse drinks right in my own kitchen.
The single-serve NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Genio machine is perfect for me in my one woman operation! It’s really no surprise that it’s the most popular in the line. In less than one minute, I can brew delicious café style hot or cold (Terrence’s favorite) drinks! There are about 19 different varieties of drinks in the line, but you don’t need any sort of special training to make them. You basically just fill the machine with water, pop in the pod, and press start. There’s no coffee grinds, which means no mess. You even get the froth with a special 2 capsule system for specialty drinks. The froth is made with hormone free whole or skim milk. Then, after your Espresso, Cappuccino or Hot Chocolate is done, just toss the capsule in the trash! Talk about time saver! Really, y’all, this machine is super smart! If you forget to turn it off, it’ll shut itself off after 20 second to conserve energy.
